This genuine OEM BMW Fuel Tank Safety Vent Valve helps control pressure inside the motorcycle fuel system. Its internal gravity-sensitive float works as a roll-over check valve, sealing the vent line during a tip-over to reduce fuel leakage. During normal riding, it allows expanding fuel vapors to vent safely away from the engine area. The upper housing is made from translucent, fuel-resistant POM plastic, while the lower mounting base seals to the tank with a fitted rubber gasket.
