It replaces the restrictive factory plastic air box and supports a high-flow intake setup for better airflow, sharper throttle response, and improved engine breathing. Integrated breathers route crankcase vent gases into the intake tract. Fitment & Compatible Models Touring Models 2002-2007: Fits FLHTC/FLHTCI, FLHTCU/FLHTCUI, FLHT/FLHTI, FLHR/FLHRI, FLHRC/FLHRCI, FLHRS/FLHRSI, FLTR/FLTRI, and FLHX/FLHXI Street Glide models. Softail Models 2001-2015: Fits EFI Softail models with 46mm cable throttle body, including FLSTC, FLSTF, FXSTB, FXST, FXSTS, and FLSTN EFI variants. Dyna Models 2004-2007: Fits EFI FXD, FXDC, FXDL, and FXDWG models. Compatibility Notes: Will not fit carbureted engines or throttle-by-wire Touring models. Requires correct breather bolts, shims, and matching high-flow air filter.
