This genuine Honda OEM rear passenger pillion/rider seat hook bracket, also called a seat catch hook or latch plate, mounts beneath the tail-section frame and provides the main anchor point for the seat-locking mechanism. Made from durable molded zinc alloy, it withstands vibration and structural load while keeping the seat securely locked. Turning the key operates the lock cable and spring-loaded latch, releasing the bracket so the passenger seat or seat cowl can be removed.
