Product Description

This is an OEM Honda lower triple tree, also known as a lower triple clamp or steering stem sub-assembly. It uses a heavy-duty vertical steel steering stem with a lightweight cast-aluminum lower bracket for strong front-end support. The steering stem comes fitted with the original lower ball-bearing cage assembly for smooth steering movement. The bracket features dual-bolt pinch clamps for 41mm front fork tubes, plus an integrated center steering-stop block to help prevent fork over-rotation. Direct Vehicle Compatibility This component is a direct factory replacement for the first-generation Tri-Arm Honda 400cc inline-four sport bike line. Honda CBR400RR NC23: 1988 Honda CBR400RR NC23: 1989 Important Exclusions: Does not fit the 1986-1987 Honda CBR400R NC23 Aero generation due to different bodywork mounting and frame neck offset. Does not fit the 1990-1999 Honda CBR400RR NC29 Gull-Arm generation due to revised chassis geometry, steering stops, and fork offset.
