This is a genuine Honda OEM Engine Heat Shield Guard / Wiring Bracket, also known as Heat Guard Component A. It is designed to protect electrical connectors and the main wiring loom from radiant engine heat. Made from durable, heat-resistant molded plastic, this bracket installs beneath the fuel tank and above the cylinder head. The upper semicircular cutouts position it around the frame tubes or cooling lines, while the lower slots and retaining tabs secure the wiring harness and multi-pin connectors. This helps prevent the loom from contacting hot engine surfaces, reducing the risk of melted insulation, short circuits, and electrical failure.
