This is an OEM Honda rear drum brake backing plate assembly, originally finished in factory blue paint. Made from durable cast aluminum, it serves as the main anchor panel for the rear brake shoe mechanism and keeps the internal braking components correctly aligned during operation. The plate features an integrated torque slot that locks onto the motorcycle swingarm tab to prevent rotation under braking. It also includes the original mechanical actuator arm, which operates the internal brake cam and expands the brake shoes against the drum when the rear brake pedal is pressed.
