Made from lightweight, high-strength die-cast aluminum, it connects the rear shock absorber, swingarm, and frame-mounted linkage rods. The progressive linkage design changes the shock leverage ratio through suspension travel for improved comfort and bottoming resistance. It includes bearing bores for needle bearings and collars, plus a grease fitting for pivot lubrication.
