This is an OEM Kawasaki Engine Output Gear Case, also known as an angle or bevel gearbox housing, designed for shaft-driven Kawasaki inline-four motorcycles. This structural housing contains the bevel and output gear assembly that redirects engine power by 90 degrees to the rear cardan shaft. Made from high-strength aluminum alloy, it includes an oil filler/inspection opening, internal mounting points, and precision-machined sealing surfaces for proper crankcase fitment. Technical & Casting Details * Casting Mark: "MADE IN JAPAN" molded into the housing. Compatible Models & Years * Kawasaki GTR 1000: 1986–2006 * Kawasaki Concours 1000 (ZG1000 / ZG1000A): 1986–2006 The same basic output gear case design was used throughout the first-generation GTR/Concours 1000 production run.
