This is an OEM rear brake caliper mounting bracket, also known as a rear caliper holder or hanger, designed for the Kawasaki Zephyr 550 (ZR550). Made from durable cast aluminum, this factory bracket secures the rear brake caliper to the swingarm and rear axle assembly. The large lower sleeve bore fits over the rear wheel spindle axle, while the two smaller mounting holes support the caliper slide pins for correct alignment over the brake disc. The casting is marked with manufacturing numbers 179 / 999. As an original factory component, it provides proper fitment and alignment for the specified models.
