On Kawasaki models with constant-velocity Keihin carburetors, it helps reduce carburetor icing and supports proper fuel vaporization in cold or humid conditions. The relay cycles the heating elements to help maintain smooth idle and throttle operation. It has a sealed black plastic housing, an integrated mounting tab, and a dedicated male terminal connector.
