About This Product This is an OEM Kawasaki engine coolant thermostat housing assembly designed for water-cooled street motorcycles. It acts as the main junction for coolant flow, helping regulate engine temperature by directing fluid between the engine, bypass lines, and radiator. The assembly includes a cast aluminum upper cover with the main radiator hose outlet, a molded composite lower base for secondary coolant routing, a brass threaded temperature sensor/switch, and a metal air bleed fitting to help remove trapped air during service. It also comes with a black-coated steel mounting bracket for secure placement inside the frame near the engine cylinder area.
