This is a genuine factory-original OEM Suzuki engine crankcase breather cover plate for vintage 1980s four-cylinder motorcycles. Cast from lightweight aluminum in Japan, it mounts on top of the cylinder head valve cover and helps route crankcase ventilation gases through the integrated side outlet to reduce internal pressure. The inner face includes the Suzuki casting emblem, "MADE IN JAPAN" marking, and "492" casting identifier.
