Built with copper windings inside a durable protective plastic housing, it features dual threaded mounting terminal studs and a single high-tension output lead design. This 4.0-ohm coil is used in contact-points ignition systems to convert low battery voltage into the high-voltage spark needed for reliable spark plug firing. Compatible Models This Hitachi CM11-50 style coil fits multiple 1970s Yamaha models with stock point ignition systems. Two-cylinder models require two individual coils.
