The factory cast construction features integrated 33 mm fork tube clamps, reinforced structural webbing on the underside, a central mounting point for the horn or brake-line hardware, and the original steering stem with retention components. Compatible Models & Years This specific Yamaha casting, stamped 2L0, was used primarily on first-generation twin-cylinder Yamaha street motorcycles equipped with 33 mm front forks. * Yamaha XS400 Standard / Twin: 1978–1981 * Yamaha XS400S Special: 1980–1981 * Yamaha XS360: 1976–1977 The XS360 shares similar frame geometry, fork spacing, and steering-stem dimensions with these early XS400 models. Fitment Note This lower triple tree is not intended for the 1982–1983 DOHC Yamaha XS400 Maxim or Seca models.
