This OEM cast-aluminum left-side engine sprocket cover is designed for Yamaha SOHC air-cooled parallel-twin engines. It mounts on the lower-left side of the engine and covers the front countershaft sprocket and drive chain area, helping protect key drivetrain parts from dirt and debris. The inner section houses the clutch worm-gear actuator mechanism, which converts clutch cable pull into pushrod movement to disengage the clutch. The outer face includes a factory-style circular shift pattern marking for a six-speed manual gearbox, along with countersunk mounting points for secure installation.
