This is an original factory OEM Yamaha rear wheel drum brake backing plate assembly, also known as a drum brake panel or shoe carrier. This component supports the rear brake shoes, return springs, and actuator camshaft inside the drum brake system. Crafted from cast aluminum with a black factory-style coating, it features an integrated torque anchor tab at the top for connection to the swingarm stay rod, along with a chrome-finished external actuator arm. It is designed as a direct replacement part to help restore proper rear braking function and factory fitment.
