About This Product This is an authentic Yamaha OEM outer left-side exhaust muffler upper guard panel designed for the under-seat exhaust system of the YZF-R1. It serves as a cosmetic trim piece and thermal barrier between the left muffler, rear tail section, and subframe. Construction: Molded from heat-resistant composite plastic engineered to withstand radiant exhaust temperatures. Finish: Factory metallic brown-gray finish that blends with the original under-tail design. Installation: Direct-fit mounting using two recessed factory grommet and bolt locations. Hardware is not included. Compatible Models: 2004 Yamaha YZF-R1 2005 Yamaha YZF-R1 2006 Yamaha YZF-R1, including standard, 50th Anniversary, and LE models Note: Fits the left-hand muffler only and is not interchangeable with the right-side guard.
